Using the dividend calendar
View expected dividend payouts month by month with the dividend calendar feature.
The dividend calendar gives you a visual overview of expected dividend payments throughout the year, helping you plan your income.
Accessing the dividend calendar
- Open your portfolio dashboard
- Navigate to Dividends in the sidebar
- Select the Calendar view
The calendar shows expected dividends across all your holdings.
Calendar views
Month view
The default view shows one month at a time:
- Each day shows stocks going ex-dividend
- Click a date to see payment details
- Navigate between months with arrow buttons
List view
Switch to list view for a chronological listing:
- Upcoming dividends sorted by date
- Filter by time period (1 month, 3 months, 6 months)
- Group by stock or by date
Year overview
See the full year at a glance:
- Monthly totals displayed in a grid
- Identify high and low income months
- Plan for seasonal patterns
Understanding the calendar
What's displayed
For each expected dividend:
- Stock symbol — Which stock is paying
- Ex-dividend date — Last day to buy and receive dividend
- Payment date — When you'll receive the money
- Amount — Expected dividend per share
- Your income — Based on your share quantity
Date types
Two important dates for each dividend:

|---|---|
| Ex-dividend date | Deadline to own shares |
| Payment date | When dividend is paid |
The calendar can show either date — switch in settings.
Filtering and customisation
Filter by holding
Focus on specific stocks:
- Click the Filter button
- Select the holdings to show
- Apply the filter
Useful for tracking income from specific investments.
Filter by market
Show dividends from specific markets:
- US stocks only
- Australian stocks only
- All markets
Time range
Select how far ahead to project:
- 1 month
- 3 months
- 6 months
- 12 months
Longer ranges are less accurate as dividends may not be declared yet.
Income projections
The calendar header shows:
- This month — Expected income for current month
- Next month — Expected income for next month
- Quarterly total — Sum for current quarter
- Annual projection — Estimated year total
These help you understand your income flow.
Exporting and printing
Print your calendar
- Click the Print button
- Choose print layout (month or list)
- Print or save as PDF
Useful for record-keeping or sharing with an accountant.
Export to CSV
Download dividend data:
- Click Export
- Select date range
- Download CSV file
The export includes all dividend details for your records.
Dividend alerts
Get notified about upcoming dividends:
- Go to notification settings
- Enable dividend alerts
- Choose notification timing (1 day before, 1 week before)
You'll receive alerts when ex-dividend dates approach for your holdings.
Using the calendar effectively
Income planning
Use the calendar to:
- Know when income arrives
- Plan for bills or reinvestment
- Identify gaps in income flow
Diversification check
A healthy dividend portfolio has:
- Income spread across months
- Multiple payment schedules
- Not too dependent on one stock
If all your dividends come in one month, consider diversifying.
Tax planning
Before end of financial year:
- Review expected dividends in remaining months
- Consider timing of purchases
- Plan for dividend income in tax calculations
