Managing your account

Learn how to update your profile, check your plan status, and manage account settings.

Your account settings let you manage your profile, preferences, and subscription. This guide covers the key account management features.

Accessing account settings

  1. Click your profile icon in the top right
  2. Select Settings
  3. Or go directly to Settings in the sidebar

Profile settings

Display name

Your name shown in the app:

  1. Go to Settings > Profile
  2. Edit your display name
  3. Click Save

Email address

The email associated with your account:

  • Used for sign-in
  • Used for notifications
  • Can be changed if needed

To change your email:

  1. Go to Settings > Profile
  2. Click Change email
  3. Verify the new email address

Profile picture

Your avatar shown in the app:

  • Uses your Google profile picture (if signed in with Google)
  • Or a default avatar

Plan status

See your current subscription:

Free plan

Shows:

  • Current limits (holdings, portfolios)
  • Usage (how much you've used)
  • Upgrade option

PRO plan

Shows:

  • Subscription status (active, cancelled)
  • Renewal date
  • Payment method
  • Manage subscription option

Usage overview

Track how much you're using:

The usage bar shows how close you are to limits.

Notification preferences

Control what notifications you receive:

Email notifications

  • Weekly portfolio summary
  • Significant price movements
  • Dividend announcements
  • Product updates

Push notifications (if enabled)

  • Price alerts
  • Dividend dates
  • Important account updates

Toggle each notification type on or off.

Data and privacy

Export your data

Download all your data:

  1. Go to Settings > Data
  2. Click Export my data
  3. Download includes holdings, transactions, settings

Delete account

To permanently delete your account:

  1. Go to Settings > Data
  2. Click Delete account
  3. Confirm deletion

Warning: Account deletion is permanent. All portfolios, transactions, and data will be lost.

Security

Password

If you signed up with email:

  1. Go to Settings > Security
  2. Click Change password
  3. Enter current and new password

Connected accounts

If you signed in with Google:

  • See connected Google account
  • Disconnect if needed

Sessions

View active sessions:

  • Devices where you're signed in
  • Sign out of other devices if needed

Preferences

Display currency

Set your preferred currency for portfolio values:

  • USD (US Dollars)
  • AUD (Australian Dollars)

Date format

Choose how dates are displayed:

  • DD/MM/YYYY (Australian style)
  • MM/DD/YYYY (US style)
  • YYYY-MM-DD (ISO style)

Theme

Select your colour theme:

  • Light mode
  • Dark mode
  • System (follows your device)
