How it works
Enter your holdings and their allocation weights. We analyze diversification, sector exposure, and risk to give you an instant health score.
1. Add your holdings
Search for stocks, ETFs, crypto, or metals and enter the percentage weight each one has in your portfolio.
2. Get your health score
We calculate scores for diversification, sector balance, and concentration risk.
3. See the breakdown
View detailed breakdowns by sector and asset class. For ETFs, we look through to the underlying holdings.
4. Share your results

What we check
Diversification
Measures how evenly your portfolio is spread across holdings using the Herfindahl-Hirschman Index (HHI).
Sector balance
Checks sector concentration across your holdings. For ETFs, we look through to the underlying sector allocations.
Concentration warnings
Flags when a single holding exceeds 30%, a sector exceeds 50%, or high-risk assets like crypto exceed 50%.
Concentration risk
A composite score combining diversification and sector balance, with additional penalty for concentration warnings.

Common questions
How is the risk score calculated?
The risk score combines your diversification score (55% weight) and sector balance score (45% weight). On top of that, each concentration warning reduces the score by 15 points (up to a maximum of 40 points). This means a single warning can move your risk from "Low" to "Moderate", and multiple warnings can push it to "High" or "Very high".
What triggers a concentration warning?
Warnings are triggered when a single holding exceeds 30% of your portfolio, a single sector exceeds 50%, or a high-risk asset class (cryptocurrency or commodities) exceeds 50%. These thresholds flag situations where a downturn in one area could significantly impact your portfolio.
How does ETF look-through work?
When your portfolio includes ETFs, we fetch the underlying holdings and sector weights from the fund. This gives a more accurate picture of your actual sector exposure than treating the ETF as a single holding.
Do I need exact dollar amounts?
No. You only need the approximate percentage weight of each holding. If your weights don't add up to 100%, they will be automatically normalized.
Is my data stored?
No. Your portfolio data is only used to calculate the scores and is not saved anywhere. No account is required.
