TrackMyShares vs Sharesight vs Navexa: Which portfolio tracker is right for you?
We built TrackMyShares because we felt multi-market investors (particularly those across US and Australian markets) were paying too much for portfolio tracking. But we are not the right fit for everyone, and pretending otherwise would not help anyone make a good decision.
An honest comparison of TrackMyShares, Sharesight, Navexa, and Stock Events.
Pricing
This is where the biggest differences show up.
| TrackMyShares | Sharesight | Navexa | Stock Events | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free tier | 7-day trial (full access) | 1 portfolio, 10 holdings | No free tier (14-day trial) | Limited free tier |
| Entry paid plan | $5.99/mo | $25/mo (30 holdings) | $27/mo | ~$3/mo |
| Unlimited holdings | $5.99/mo | $39/mo | $34/mo | PRO subscription |
| Annual (entry) | $49.99/year | $228/year | ~$243/year | Available in-app |
| Annual (unlimited) | $49.99/year | $348/year | ~$306/year | Available in-app |
TrackMyShares has one paid tier. $5.99/month or $49.99/year gets you everything. Sharesight's comparable unlimited tier is $39/month ($348/year), and Navexa's is $34/month (~$306/year). Stock Events is the cheapest option if you do not need tax reporting.
We can offer lower pricing because we are a smaller team without the overhead of a 200+ person company. The trade-off is that Sharesight has a larger engineering team shipping features faster and supporting more integrations.

TrackMyShares covers US stocks, ASX shares, and crypto. That is the scope. If your portfolio fits within those markets, you are covered. If not, look elsewhere.

Navexa has strong Australian tax support but does not cover US, UK, Canadian, or NZ taxes. Stock Events does not do tax reporting.
Portfolio features
| TrackMyShares | Sharesight | Navexa | Stock Events | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Dividend calendar | Yes | No | Yes (Premium) | Yes |
| Consolidated portfolios | Yes | Yes (Standard+) | Yes (groups) | No |
| Portfolio rebalancing | Yes | No | No | No |

| CSV import | Yes | Yes | Yes | No |
| Xero integration | No | Yes (Standard+) | No | No |
| Email notifications | Daily/weekly/monthly | No | No | No |
Sharesight's broker auto-sync is its strongest feature. Trades import automatically from over 100 brokers without you lifting a finger. We use email forwarding instead: you forward your broker confirmation emails and transactions are parsed automatically. It works, but it requires that extra step of forwarding the email.
If you use Xero for accounting, Sharesight is your only option with direct integration.
TrackMyShares is the only tracker here with portfolio rebalancing (it calculates trade recommendations based on your target allocations) and scheduled email summaries.
Mobile experience
Stock Events has the best mobile experience, with native iOS and Android apps and home screen widgets. Navexa has native apps on both platforms. TrackMyShares is a PWA, so you can install it on your phone and it works offline, but it is not a native app store experience. Sharesight is web-only.
Where each tool fits
TrackMyShares is best for investors in US stocks, ASX shares, and crypto who want tax reporting, rebalancing, and email forwarding without paying $200+/year. It is a focused tool that does fewer things but includes everything in one $49.99/year tier.
Sharesight is best for investors across many global markets who want automated broker syncing and Xero integration. It is the most mature platform with the broadest coverage, and you pay accordingly.
Navexa is best for Australian-focused investors who want native mobile apps and deep ASX tax support, particularly if you manage an SMSF or trust.
Stock Events is best if you want a polished mobile app with earnings calendars and social features, and do not need tax reporting.
