Transaction tracking and cost basis
You can now record individual buy, sell, and dividend transactions directly from your portfolio. TrackMyShares automatically calculates your cost basis across all your lots, so you always know exactly where you stand.
Specific lot identification for sells
When selling shares, you can choose which specific tax lots to dispose of. This gives you full control over short-term vs. long-term capital gains for tax-optimised selling.

Generate detailed tax reports for any financial year. See your capital gains broken down by short-term and long-term, dividend income, withholding tax, and franking credits — all in one place.
Tax loss harvesting

We now support CSV and Excel imports from 17 brokers, with step-by-step guides for each one. The import dialog also detects when you upload a transaction file and guides you to the right workflow.
CSV merge tool
Combine multiple broker exports spanning different years or formats into a single standardised file before importing. Handles different date formats and column layouts automatically.
Automatic stock split detection
When importing transactions, TrackMyShares detects when historical share quantities don't match due to stock splits and automatically adjusts your records.
Mobile improvements
A swipeable charts carousel on mobile, full iOS Safari compatibility, and continued PWA improvements for a smoother experience on any device.
